Debating and Public Speaking:Ìýinter-year and inter-school debating and public speaking competitions available to all students.
Science and Engineering Challenge:ÌýAn opportunity for students to put their scientific inquiry skills to the test in an inter-school challenge.
Physics Olympiad:ÌýYear 11 students compete in an inter-school Olympiad, showcasing their burgeoning skills as physicists of the future.
MUNA (Model United Nations Assembly)
Students work together in teams to represent countriesÌýaround the world as they debate on issues of global significance such as gender equality, intelligence gathering, border control, the effectiveness of the UN, globalisation and many more. This is an inter-school competition where students can showcase their global awareness, critical thinking, team-work and public speaking.
Duke of Edinburgh
Students have the opportunity to participate in a multi-displinary award challenge alongside their peers, incorporating physical challenges, volunteering,Ìýpractising vocational,Ìýcreative, communicative and community campaigning skills and culminating in an adventurous camping journey. Students can achieve the Bronze, Silver or Gold award depending on their level of involvement.
ÃÈÃÃÉç Media Team:ÌýStudents can elect to participate in the GHS Media team, who work collaboratively to create and collate multimedia content of school life, events and community.
Global Awareness Group:ÌýThe Global Awareness Group is a lunch-time meet-up for students interested in discussing world events, politics, activism and civic engagement.ÌýÌý
