Drama

Drama is an elective subject for Year 9 and 10 students and can be chosen as an HSC subject for Year 11 and 12 students.

A student's capacity to create and express themselves through the arts is one of the central qualities that will provide success in the 21st Century.Ìý Many recent studies show that Communication, Confidence, Creativity and Teamwork are some of the most sought-after skills in new employees!

InÌýStage Five DramaÌýwe study playbuilding, scripted drama, Shakespeare (including a class production for parents and guests), musical theatre, clowning, physical theatre, Australian gothic theatre and verbatim theatre.Ìý

InÌýStage Six DramaÌýwe study improvisation, playbuilding, the elements of production (which involves a class production for parents and guests) and the individual project which can be selected from options in: design, monologue, video drama, script writing or critical analysis.
